Sinus Alpha heeft een zachtere rubberlaag en ontwikkelt zijn sterke punten vooral tijdens een passief spel, omdat het zorgt voor nog betere controle. Hij is niet zo snel als zijn hardere broertje, maar levert ongeëvenaarde precisie tijdens snelle topspins en het blokkeren van ballen. Ballen die met dit rubber worden gespeeld, hebben een langere en gelijkmatig gebogen baan, waardoor er nog meer druk op de tegenstander komt te staan.
